Everyday English
English for Spanish-speakers in a classroom format
Based on the core content and methodologies that made Inglés sin Barreras® a success for learning English at home, Carreras sin Barreras® Everyday English combines student materials with Facilitator Guides and DVDs to ensure an effective classroom based English-learning program. Everyday English is designed for those who wish to conduct English classes for beginners with limited literacy. The program incorporates the use of visual aids and interactive exercises in order to maximize learning and retention. The Facilitator’s Guide is fully annotated, making it easy for a facilitator or instructor to use the materials in a classroom setting. All items in this kit can be ordered individually to suit your classroom needs. Everyday English is a program that allows for customization and classroom training to Spanish-speakers in one-hour blocks for a total of 72 hours of instruction. Broken down, this equates to three to four courses a week for 18 weeks, or just over four months of training. The complete package is comprised of a facilitator’s guide with lectures, DVDs, and CDs that correspond to the lessons, as well as student workbooks, pocket dictionaries and grammar books.
